Sundays are diner days in #larryskitchen, where I try to recreate classic diner dishes. Chicken croquettes are warm and crunchy and can be easily eaten if you have a dental problem like I do right now.

I have learned when a Vietnamese restaurant asks you how spicy you want your dish and tells you 3 = spicy, 4 = very spicy, and 5 = will make you cry, you should take them at their word. I went for 4 and that was just right for me. Ordering 5 is just asking for the chef to go nuts.

got an electric car as a loaner while my Jetta is in for recall service. first time driving an electric. The ID.4 is way different than my usual mode of transportation, but I don't hate it. It feels like a spaceship, which is right in my nerd wheelhouse.

chatting with a colleague about my current job situation (which is trending positive) and he ends the conversation with this.

I know there was some unintended dental work yesterday, but the jaw hasn't felt this bad since I was accidentally hit in the face by a hockey goalie who was trying to clear the puck.

Finished Star Wars Outlaws. Really enjoyed the story and play. Definitely had a “HOLY 💩!” moment toward the end of the story. Side missions to still clean up though.
