Fish and chips has always been the standard pub food for me to gauge how well a restaurant’s kitchen can perform. But that goes for me, too. I changed up some of the ingredients and method from the original recipe, creating something a bit crunchier and more delicious.

Let’s start off the week with a good stretch, some sunshine, and a positive outlook. Arthur will demonstrate. 🐱

when your DM gives you a business to run, the PR/marketing person in me is going to want to promote it properly. fortunately, our cleric has a graphics staff available.

@LnzyHou Carolina Reaper is the camp ranger for the other cheese. I have tried that before. I survived.

ghost pepper habanero pepperjack cheese doesn't fly too close to the sun. it flies to the sun, sets up camp, and reads a book. and I'm here for it.

You said: "It is wrong to raise the dead."
And I said: "I won't know until I try."
You said: "And now?"
I said: "I'm sorry."

In case you were wondering what K was doing with all those blueberries we picked, it was a pie last night and whoopie pies today.

When visiting a Jamaican restaurant, I had this wonderful stew that incorporated pork, plantains, sweet potatoes, and pineapple in a slightly spicy adobo sauce. I don’t know if mine is as good as theirs, but it is pretty darn delicious.

This was me and K yesterday. She was the one diving back in for more blueberries. Via @foxes_in_love

starting off the day with a friendly nerd discussion with a friend is not a bad way to get going.

fell on the steep trail today and landed on my hand. rock got me right in the thumb joint to the hand. later, K asked how it was feeling. I said fine, which means I probably shattered a couple of bones in my hand.

yes, I have broken bones and never realized it. I'm built (and broken) that way.

If you choose the hard way, make it the very hard way. But the results are worth it.

nearly $550 later and a new control panel is installed in our 4-year-old furnace. and just in time with 90 plus degree temperatures on the way! the cats are most appreciative.

because it is a FAQ: to my friends, even those whom I've never met in person, I will have your back when you need it. you are not alone. and I need you.

in tonight's session...

Tygo: "I’m going to put you in flanking."

Bam: "Aw, I think it is cute that you think I know what that is."

yes, they are a married couple IRL. too stinking cute.

in a weird gaming space right now. bouncing between Disney Dreamlight Valley (need Dreamlight), Destiny 2 (need Act 3 to start), and Neverwinter (need higher powered equipment to advance). never been a big fan of grinding or episodic games, but here I am. just a guy. waiting for the next season of Diablo IV to start.

have a day, Jackson Holliday! Grand slam! Welcome back to Camden Yards!!

Cayde was gnawing on my arm last night. Sunspot attacked my ankle this morning. I'm thinking all the BBQ I've eaten lately is making me taste pretty good to the cats.

Hidden treasures in the small former railroad and former coal towns in the PNW. This bar logged a lot of miles before ending up in the Krane Cormer. Very cool history.
