starting off the day with a friendly nerd discussion with a friend is not a bad way to get going.
fell on the steep trail today and landed on my hand. rock got me right in the thumb joint to the hand. later, K asked how it was feeling. I said fine, which means I probably shattered a couple of bones in my hand.
yes, I have broken bones and never realized it. I'm built (and broken) that way.
If you choose the hard way, make it the very hard way. But the results are worth it.
nearly $550 later and a new control panel is installed in our 4-year-old furnace. and just in time with 90 plus degree temperatures on the way! the cats are most appreciative.

in a weird gaming space right now. bouncing between Disney Dreamlight Valley (need Dreamlight), Destiny 2 (need Act 3 to start), and Neverwinter (need higher powered equipment to advance). never been a big fan of grinding or episodic games, but here I am. just a guy. waiting for the next season of Diablo IV to start.

Legend has it the pepperoni roll was a lunch option for coal miners in West Virginia since they didn’t need to be refrigerated and were easily packed for the midday meal. Since then, variations have sprung up to put cheese, peppers, or even different meats, but the classic remains sticks of pepperoni enclosed by a soft roll. Sliced pepperoni is not recommended. #larryskitchen

I don’t bake often, but I will try every once in a while. Blueberry Pound Cake contains a pound of butter, sugar, flour, and blueberries. Turned out lighter than I expected. Very happy. #larryskitchen
