K called me to let me know she rescued a kitten that was nearly run over by a vehicle (jerk). On her way to the vet with the furball, but we may end up with another kitty. Stay tuned...

@EngagedPureLand I'll pass that missed opportunity to the DM. that is perfect!!

Appetizers for dinner are not the worst way to go. They are generally quick, tasty, and plentiful. Taking a Southern favorite and bumping up the flavor with a crispy breading is definitely a good idea.

Happy new DC comics day! Batman, Batman/Superman: World's Finest, Titans, and Nightwing for me. The end of some storylines. The beginnings of others. Alpha and omega. Yeah, Darkseid makes an appearance...

Sanver (me): "I will 1960s Batman style climb up the side of dome."

DM: "About halfway up, a window opens, and Sammy Davis, Jr., sticks his head out."

just because football season is over doesn't mean you can't have something totally not good for you on a Sunday. Chorizo and Cheese Dip served in an iron skillet is an incredible presentation for an amazing quick dish.

@ProjectShadow gods, if I'm not an adult, WTH am I doing filing taxes???

taxes for 2023 are done. is 11 a.m. too early for a drink?

There are some things I miss about Philadelphia, and nearly all of them involve food. So trying my hand at making cheesesteaks at home. They turned out really good!

Next Seattle Cafe Passport visit takes us to a Filipino coffee shop and bakery. Ube lattes from Hood Famous Bake Shop are smooth and delicious. A mochi waffle completes the experience. ☕️

figured out a way to beat the always respawning rogue ships in by dropping all the Helm missions. no more rogue ships.

unexpectedly spent the day getting my skates repaired. but having your tools and equipment in working order means a greater opportunity to think about the enjoyment you are having. as opposed to having a skate blowout at speed and the end boards are looming .... again.

during last night's hockey game, I found myself "being a captain" again by imagining and suggesting plays, providing advice and assistance when asked, trying to encourage and inspire my teammates, being a leader. in other words, being myself.

hi. it's me. I'm the solution, it's me.

Picked up a goal and an assist tonight. My hockey hands are definitely back, but the endurance is struggling. Patience. 🐐 🏒

When the day takes a blah turn, cake makes it all better. Or so I’m told. 🍰

when Derezzed by Daft Punk hits, the next 1:44 are just grooving with the beat. I'm sorry. those are the rules.

I've been watching some of these OpenAI videos, and wow, these are going to be nightmare fuel for a while. some subtle, some not so much. and why do we even need this? what is the end goal for something like this?

It is just starting but maybe it will turn into something more. ❄️
