Fried soy with vegetables. Tofu is not my first (second or third) choice, but if it is good enough for gnomes and elves, I’m ready to try it. Really good!

Pasta and cheese are the traditional combination, but the ways they can come together vary so much. Combining ricotta and mozzarella cheese, then stuffing it inside cooked pasta shells creates a delicious combo that is better than any restaurant variety.

I will admit that it is a rare moment when one of my recipes doesn’t involve turning on the oven. But it also doesn’t heat up the kitchen area when temperatures rise. This shrimp salad is cool, refreshing, flavorful, and does take some prep work. Totally worth it.

Amazing 5-hour kayak tour in the waters of northern Washington. Got to see a seal, harbor porpoise pod, bald eagles, an old lighthouse complex, and beautiful scenery. A really fun adventure.

Another adventure, a kayak journey starting in the Rosario Strait. The rain just makes it more interesting.

delicious Frelard tamales and award-winning beer from El Sueñito in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle. the queso with chorizo is wonderful as well.

They are doing amazing things with chocolate to create delicious candies and treats. And they have candy making classes. 🍫 🍬

New comic book day! World’s Finest, Nightwing, Superman (Absolute Power tie in), and Wonder Woman (another tie in). I like how the tie ins have a partner hero in each.

I’ve seen nitrogen filled tires on cars. Never seen nitrogen used for running shoes. 👟

was talking with friends in our comics/gaming chat group and discussion moved to the new Dragon Age. I used Keep to find out what my saves looked like, and it didn't have Inquisition. now, I'm "replaying" DA:I just because that's how my gaming brain works. I regret nothing.

There is just something about the versatility of meatballs that make them such a big hit. You can change up the meat, change the size, change the way you present them – the possibilities are limited only by your imagination.
