Made Alton Brown’s Aged Eggnog in Nov. 11. Today, I pour our first glasses of it. When Alton says, “Your patience will be rewarded,” this is what he means. So incredibly smooth and mellow, despite all the bourbon , cognac, and rum in it.

Her: “Not really. I wouldn’t care if we just had pizza.”

Today: Thanksgiving pizza. I make what is requested.
