seriously. how does Seattle deal with these temperatures and no AC? who thought that was a good idea?
it is almost like waiting until there is a fire to have a fire extinguisher. no, wait. it is exactly like that!
kitties are officially puddles. we're not far behind.
@LianaBrooks I believe that to be true. but maybe just because my kitties are suffering, that just seems to be incredibly short sighted. and the apt. I live in has vertical windows, so no window AC available.
@lfrum I lived in the Seattle area for a few years and left in 2019. We had a newer house and still no AC. It just was not a thing available.
@lfrum It wasn't an issue twenty years ago. The climate has shifted faster than anyone anticipated and regions that traditionally never needed AC are suffering for it.
