Had some illy Extra Dark Roast coffee this morning with some Torani Salted Caramel syrup mixed in. Surprising - the illy coffee is so strong that it almost totally overpowers the Salted Caramel flavoring. Still good - just unexpected.
@Wolvie I wouldn't say I'm *seriously* into Salted Caramel syrup - I just bought a bottle of it and I'm using it until I'm out of it. 😅

@Mandypar It's got quite the mule kick to it. Not quite so much caffeine, though - the extra dark roasting roasts it out. Caffeine is actually higher in light roasts, as I learned in my light roast experiments. There is something about an extra dark roast that will wake you up, however. 😋

@leejackson i have noticed you are seriously into salted caramel syrup- I don't think i could take that in the morning lol. I like a bit of half and half and that is it. Boring i know. I do buy my coffee from Philly fair trade tho- current whole bean we buy is from Peru. 🙂
