Essentially what I'm getting at, is that the republicans for years have been doing this to all of their political enemies, especially on that platform, through paid targeted advertising. They've been doing what the Russians were doing to Ukraine. It's royally messed up.

It's been revealed that Facebook has been sabotaging TikTok with the help of a REPUBLICAN thinktank Targeted Victory, by intentionally trying to promote any content that makes TikTok look evil, or promote content that makes it appear as if dangerous challenges have started on TikTok when they actually haven't.

What absolutely astounds me is that they haven't put two and two together about WHY that firm has the kind of experience needed to counsel a billion dollar company on social engineering.

I have a saying I believe I came up with, when dealing with the trolls who state their argument of some contentious thing and then follow up with memes instead of any discussion: "Memes for days but no substance for a minute?"

These guys almost exclusively are just cave brains echoing some Twitter opinion that is now their own opinion. I can't stand that level of mental vacancy.

Apparently there's some discussion about whether Russia has started using White Phosphorus or Thermite on targets now. My guess is with the dwindling guided missile supply, they're using whatever is available, which is horrific if true.

Yeesh this is getting crazy

To paraphrase the beginning of Martin Niemöller's famous poem:

"First they came for the Ukrainians, and I did not speak out - because I was not a Ukrainian"

Spoiler alert, the ending of the poem is about the Nazis coming for everyone eventually, because people just refused to participate in stopping them early.

I really, really hope we don't make this mistake again.
