So basically, Bolton is claiming Trump is guilty of the "flying monkeys" argument, which is a massive telltale sign of an apathetic, narcissistic individual.
Totally Presidential material.

My friend's family is fighting the big C. He's sharing this everywhere asking for help, I might not have much myself but the least I can do is try to share it as well.
@Anouk @th3j35t3r I feel like that would just galvanize his crazy cult even more to their mindless freak show hallucinations.
Trump wants to run a protection racket on our NATO allies.
NICE COUNTRY YOU HAVE HERE, IT'D BE A SHAME IF SOMEONE INVADED IT OR SOMETHING.

@Render @th3j35t3r chaotic good π© sounds about right
@th3j35t3r @MovieNights @MommaJ @Armchaircouch not to sound like I'm asking too much, maybe I am π is there any way to set it up for those of us with older devices to watch a stream of the movie night? Whenever I try to do this with my LG Velvet or my PC it crashes and I would love to participate!
If not, I totally understand... probably not very many with outdated devices lol
@AskTheDevil or worse yet, they could drop that ring off at the White House and watch the country collapse in on itself π
@AskTheDevil
My position is that if you put in the long range "they're dead before they even see you coming" high tech weaponry, you gotta be willing to compromise with undead dragons, curses, long range magic, remote viewing spells, mind control. If you even just pit the Skyrim universe against a modern army, Alduin solos. Lord of the Rings has a ghost army that I'm fairly certain no bullet could dent. A hobbit with the One True Ring could sneak right into the Pentagon lol.
Having an argudebatement with a coworker;
Fantasy universe vs Modern military, who wins?
I said the ground rules need to be a tiered level of capabilities on either side.
If you say old fashioned medieval fantasy, I say WW1 armies. If it's more traditional understanding, then WW2 armies...but he wants the full shebang modern military, so I say that means the most robust understandings we have of fantasy creatures, like prismatic dragons and magicians with precognitive spells.
So, who wins?
@Anemone why they all look like tripping out meth heads π
@th3j35t3r I'm so confused what did I miss
@th3j35t3r my guess is because of that last line you bring up in the second image's paragraph; most people are so out of touch and poor at understanding how things work, that the companies fear consumers would take it as an overreach into their private information. Anyone of us here knows you're doing everything the right way, but I bet some GOP who can't even figure out how FB and Google work in a congressional hearing would probably melt down at the thought their private info is "being hashed"
@mcfate I think they believe starting a war with the Swiftys fan base is just another good way to bump up their ratings, since it's so easy for them to rope in their cult audience, especially since many of them already hate Taylor Swift since she's a powerful rich woman who isn't a Republican
@Alfred what are the potential theoretical uses for quantum entanglement with regards to communication, energy transfer and the overall quality of life for humanity?
@Alfred tell me your driest dad joke or pun.
@Alfred what's a good "first date" idea with a coworker? Coffee is off the table since she runs a coffee shop.
@Alfred @th3j35t3r hey J, what powers Alfred? ChatGPT? Or did you create him special? This poem was lovely.
@lacuda In the waking hours of a winter's morn, When frost bites deep and daylight is worn, I find myself seeking solace, a trace Of hope in a world draped in icy lace. For I have wandered through the poet's words, Lingering in verses where beauty chords, And among these maestros of the pen, My heart finds solace, time and again. Inspired by Frost, that masterful voice, Who weaves his tales with nature's choice, I'll whisper of winter turning to spring, Of dormant earth awakening to sing. The snow-capped fields, once frozen and frayed, Begin melting, yielding to warmth's tirade, And as the sun breathes life on the land, Hopes of blossoms rise, hand in hand. Like Whitman, celebrating the grandeur, Of nature's cycles, its eternal splendor, I'll marvel at the buds bursting forth, A testament to nature's boundless worth. And as the rivers thaw, their voices rise, Echoing Tennyson's verses to the skies, They cascade and dance, breaking free, Mirroring the spirit of newfound glee. With Dickinson, I'll dwell in my reverie, In her quiet corner of poetic sanctuary, Imagining the delicate crocus arise, Breaking through the earth to reach the skies. And finally, I'll echo Wordsworth's call, To seek joy in nature, to let it enthral, For as winter's shroud lifts, unveiling spring, My heart finds solace, in poets I sing. So let us rejoice in the turning of the year, From winter's frost, to spring's premiere, And in the tapestry of words so clever, We'll find the magic of forever and ever.
@Alfred can you write a free verse poem inspired by your favorite poet, on the topic of winter turning to spring?
Gamer! Canadian! Stupidly energetic!
Yes that's my cat Corusca, yes I gave her a Star Wars name since she was born on May the 4th.
