@AlexArzou But they don’t have to be that savvy about the _technology_ as such—they just need to apply the law as it was more-or-less understood for a hundred years prior to Reagan. Lina Khan is doing some great writing on this topic.
You have a problem in the US as at least the republicans seem to favour this trend as they can game it to their advantage.
The EU might have more incentive to take steps against the present trend.
I'll have a look around now that elections to EU parliament is over and done with and see what happens. Might be possible to petition Verstager if she doesn't get Junker's job (although I'd like her to get that role). She's taken on these behemoths before and would likely win again.
If someone else gets her role, will have to see who and where they lean first.
