With #shark bites once again in the news and summer ramping up, PLEASE pass the word to your family and friends that they shouldn’t swim or wade in waters - however shallow - near fishing piers along the coast. Folks on the pier are “chumming” the water with bait, drawing in schools of hungry fish flowed by hungry sharks. Inserting yourself into this feeding frenzy is a recipe for disaster. #Sharks don’t want to bite you, they’re just confused by your presence. Stay safe!
