Assume that I have to use Microsoft Windows.
Is Microsoft Defender an acceptable antivirus?
If not, what would you recommend?
not sure...you'd need to ask those people for their reasons...for a home PC it'll keep ya clean within reason...and there's an awful lot of garbage AV software out there...
it may possibly be because it started out pretty much as trash...but it's gotten much better over time... π€·ββοΈ
few years back with one of the updates to windows 10...wanna say the 1703 update, maybe?
