I hate the world we curently live in. I was raised by 2 Republicans who "voted their conscience", meaning they usually voted Dem ... in the 60s. Those were the days when media could be trusted (despite it being the dawn of civil rights).
Today feels more like the 1830s.

Is it too much to hope will die in office? I know he's surrounded hisseff wiv monsters to replace him, but nunnothem have the kinda charisma that got votes for . What we need are some strong male Dem candidates that could attract even idiot GOP. I loved Harris, she had my vote, but the GOP aren't ready for a non-male potus, especially from a Dem. This is how we must measure it now. Through the eyes of idiots.

All it needed was to restart. A very frustrating day, though. Phones are addicting. I've deleted the COSO app, will use the web browser version from now on. I've had issues with the COSO app before but today was the last straw.

COSO killed my phone. For a day. This morning, I was usong the COSO app on my phone, was looking a 6-panel graphic attachment. To a post when suddenly my screen froze, would not accept touch input. The buttons all still worked but not the screen. I couldn't restart/shut down cos even that requires touching buttons on screen. So I had to let the battery run down to 0%, which took all day; that was the only way to restart it. Recharging from 0 was pretty fast, only took about an hour.

Conversely, the 1990s tax increases on the rich, contraey to prediction, did not tank the economy. The economy roared ahead, Wall Street soared, government debt built up by the Reagan/Bush administrations was paid down & the government had a surplus for the 1st time in its history. Dubya's response was new tax cuts, called a "refund", putting us back in debt, then 9/11 happened.
