60%? You know who said this? A company called The Lending Club. Where did they get their numbers? No fucking clue. They point to CNBC’s study which says 70%. However, it may come down to Survey Monkeys, an online survey company.
Sanders: "We are living in an economy today where people on top are doing phenomenally well while 60 percent of our people are living paycheck to paycheck."
That didn’t make Trump a better candidate or Harris a worse one.
Try again.

The problem is that Sanders has a lot of anger towards the rich. I get that.
What I don’t get is him thinking he is one of us. He hasn’t been one of us for a VERY LONG time.
Raise your hand if you make $174,000. Hell, our combined salaries never came close to that and I’m a software engineer.
I’m really really tired if the rich pretending they know what the rest of us think.
https://www.yahoo.com/news/bernie-sanders-working-class-angry-144221501.html
Respectfully, does someone needs to be poor or making working class wages to advocate for the poor or working class?
I don't begrudge him his salary for a second. His working class BG and bona fides are solid.
There's few who understand or can speak to that audience as well as him and do it in a way that's genuine.
I think his instincts are very good and his voice is necessary for the Dems now...
Biden walked a picket line and helped teamsters keep their pensions. The argument is one he trotted out eight years ago and is still thin as gruel.
He’s also the one who said he didn’t know about his own campaign treating women badly (which is WHY his second campaign was run by a union).
But, yeah, bonifides.
@feloneouscat @TheAbbotTrithemius
And people wonder why I'm against nuclear power. This is why. It always comes down to where the nuclear waste is stored.
@feloneouscat @TheAbbotTrithemius
Imagine the cost of maintaining, forever, storage facilities to house nuclear waste to protect the population from it. Then add that cost to the cost of generating & distributing nuclear power. The cost keeps rising & continues long after you stop generating nuclear power.
Because nuclear waste stays deadly for decades, even centuries.
See how that works?
Who needs to be condescendingly told “see how that works”?
Of course that’s how it works.
We have a convicted felon and known criminal with a boggling list of incompetent, malicious horrors under his belt and a single poorly considered vote from 27 years ago that never even ended up going anywhere is something that’s disqualifying to one of the most perceptive, dedicated anti-corporatist champions of the working class?
Nooo..
We need to hear him and others out.
We don’t have the luxury not to. If the working class is voting en masse across racial, ethnic, ideological boundaries as a political force to reckon with, then this is a golden opportunity to get them back into the Dem column where they belong if they want real leaders who will actually make their lives better, and not just lie to and manipulate them.
We need vigorous info networks and communicators to reach them. Sanders is real and one of the best.
@TheAbbotTrithemius @jjGravitas
He literally just said Democrats were on the side of corporations. He was on the side of corporations with the nuke waste dump. He voted for a bill to protect gun companies. When he was running for Prez in 2016, his campaign office was sexually abusing women.
He is real, but not what we need.
He is also older than Biden. If Biden is too old, Sanders is also.
I don’t think he has any plans to run for POTUS again.
“There was essentially a cover-up" when issues were raised, she told NPR.”
“Flores added sexism isn't an issue isolated to the Sanders campaign, saying it commonly occurs in campaigns.
"Frankly, I do think it's a little unfair ... that the attention and all of the conversation is including Bernie's name, because this isn't just something that's limited to Bernie's campaign,"
It seems systemic and comes down to
complaints that women didn’t get certain assignments, he addressed it and apologized for it. His campaign office dealt with it and people moved on.
What else is necessary?
“Sexual abuse” is a misleading allegation here as it suggests sexual assault and that Sander’s himself had done it.
Really not fair.
Enough said.
I’ll say it again: Dems need to show the working class who really cares about them. Sanders is vital to that.
@TheAbbotTrithemius @jjGravitas
Sanders can’t even agree that women have rights to their own bodies.
“Sanders endorsed Heath Mello, a mayoral candidate this year in Omaha, who had sponsored or voted for several anti-abortion bills during his time in the Nebraska state legislature. When criticized, Sanders said such choices might be necessary ‘if we’re going to become a 50-state party.’”
Fuck him.

@TheAbbotTrithemius @jjGravitas
Let’s start with this non-apology:
“I am not going to sit here and tell you that we did everything right in terms of human resources, in terms of addressing the needs that I’m hearing from now, that women felt they were disrespected, that there was sexual harassment which was not dealt with as effectively as possible,” Sanders initially said to Cooper.
There should have been ZERO sexual harassment.
If the best he can do is a non-apology, we don’t need him.
@TheAbbotTrithemius @jjGravitas
My goddess, did you think this makes his campaign in the right? How does this make ANYTHING better?
“Flores added sexism isn't an issue isolated to the Sanders campaign, saying it commonly occurs in campaigns.”
So, by his campaign sexually harassing women, it was no worse than any other campaign?
Do you understand how this does NOT MAKE ANYTHING BETTER?
Is your argument that as long as it isn’t WORSE than other campaigns then it’s okay?!?
JFC!
@TheAbbotTrithemius @jjGravitas
“‘Sexual abuse’ is a misleading allegation here as it suggests sexual assault and that Sander’s himself had done it.”
Well, he sure as fuck didnt prevent it.
And just for your information it was called sexual assault.
Now, I’m sorry I’m not a legal beagle, but I can read.
https://www.newsweek.com/bernie-sanders-sexual-assault-2020-2016-presidential-campaign-1287546
@TheAbbotTrithemius @jjGravitas
I’m sorry my brain is so simple that I’m incapable of distinguishing between sexual assault and, well, sexual assault. To my simple brain, they seem exactly the same.
“Politico reported Thursday morning that Sanders' national field director, Robert Becker, had allegedly sexually harassed and assaulted another female staffer on the night of the Democratic National Convention in 2016.”
Yeah, okay. that's all you, and I'm not doing this.
I'm as committed a fighter for women's rights as there is and I don't need to have assumptions made about what iI'm about, or prove that to anyone.
This is about bringing the working class back into the anti-MAGA or Dem fold as I've mentioned 3 or 4 times now.
This anger you're seriously misdirecting could be better applied towards more productive ways of dealing with the present clusterfuck.
I'm out.
@TheAbbotTrithemius @jjGravitas
“This anger you're seriously misdirecting could be better applied towards more productive ways of dealing with the present clusterfuck.”
I didn’t make Sanders say these things. You give me far too much power. I just read history. I gave you links.
The present clusterfuck has ZERO to do with Dems not helping working class. Low unemployment helps the working class.
Sanders has profited handsomely from capitalism. We have not.
“The present clusterfuck has ZERO to do with Dems not helping working class. “
And yet that didn’t hit home. Maybe Dems need to stop fighting and attacking each other and put their energies on building better networks/coalitions as well as messaging outlets not reliant on legacy media and leveraging it’s best, as well as new communicators, is what I’m saying.
What attack made Trump a better candidate?
Why are people giving MSM a pass? They ignored Harris for four years. Then they had the gall to say her policies were exactly the same as Biden’s (I guess low unemployment is the same, but no one wants higher unemployment).
Seriously, what bickering made Trump a more desirable candidate? Sex for all men?
Democrats did internet ad buys as well as interviews.
I’m sorry you don’t like Harris, but Jesus Christ wasn’t available.
Yeah, as I said. I'm not doing this.
I went to Pennsylvania to canvas for Harris/Walz.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
You take care.
My last question: Sanders said women would have to give up the right to abortion to give us a 50 state party.
Who else should give up the rights? Or is it just women?
I don’t want an answer, I just want you to think about what he said. If he is willing to take MY rights away just to get a 50 state party, how is that benefiting women?
I didn’t put those words in his mouth.
How can he be for women when he is willing to sacrifice their rights?
Later.
@jjGravitas @TheAbbotTrithemius
I hear you.
And it gets worse if you know how dirty mining is (and how dangerous).
TODAY, we really don’t need nuclear power. It is and expensive way to generate power. No generator has ever lived up to “cheap energy” — there is an economic cost that everyone pretends doesn’t exist.
Even the touted “small nuclear reactors” are expensive ways to generate power. But we have to pretend they are competitive or no one will buy them.
