Uber Is A Poor Replacement For Utopia
I think, we must look to understand why the implicit contract between tech and the rest was breached. Software will “eat the world,” we were told. We trusted all of this devouring would leave the world a better place. By 2016 or so our nation could see this new world emerging. We were not sure it was that much of a better a place. Uber will always be a poor replacement for Utopia.
