The old comedy The Burbs would be a good candidate to reimagine as a TV series, spreading out the story episodically. Tyler Hoechlin (most recently of Superman and Lois fame) could fit into the Tom Hanks role. And there is no end to the Hollywood weirdos that could populate the neighborhood.
