You got it. I wish I could tell you what role-playing game to look into, but they can be really vastly different and we haven't really decided what we're playing yet.
You can, however, look at the platform we're going to be using and familiarize yourself with that and see if it's something you'd like. I believe you can also find Roll20.net Videos on Youtube to see how others use it.

@jedijester @White_Rabbit I answered no to the dungeon master question but it's not out of the question for future. After I get used to the games.
I understand. I'm already making the next poll for everyone who signs up for this one in which games will be chosen, etc. One of the questions will be your experience level.
Last I checked we were at 13 signups, 20 wouldn't be out of the question, and that means 2 or 3 groups. β€
@White_Rabbit @jedijester my "experience" was years (decades) ago but I have a pretty vivid imagination!
@jedijester @White_Rabbit so what RPG are you considering running? I already know it can't be my fav - Dread - as playing jenga online is a little difficult. :)
I posted a screenshot of a few suggestions in the CoSoRPGClub. D&D, Delta Green, and Shadowrun are just a few suggestions I've read.
@White_Rabbit @jedijester man ... I haven't played shadowrun since i was *dating* my first husband. So like ... 28 years ago? (what's sad is I typed in 18 first and then realized that no, that couldn't be right, and damn I'm fucking old.)
Someone pointed out that Shadowrun dropped around D&D 2nd Edition. I feel old too. π
