We fought so hard for women’s rights in the 60s-70s and every generation of women since then have not.
Women just lost the legal right to determine control of our body.
However, the dresses at the Met Gala are of greater interest than what is happening at #SCOTUS , reversing #RoeVWade.
But we still have our guns……..
Women aren’t interested in keeping women’s rights. Women take them for granted and now watch as your rights are eradicated.

People will focus more on Senate races once #RoeVsWade is dead.

They’re only half right.

Yes, the Senate approves these #SCOTUS justices, and that’s important.

But these barbaric anti-choice bills came from state legislatures.

Until we regain statehouses, the rest is moot.

Vasectomies better be on the rise. #RoeVWade

No offense intended toward believers, but I am struggling to find the value in religion.

As an LGBTQIA+ person I am very fearful

5 people just imposed their strict religious beliefs on millions of women. These 5 people were not elected and most were appointed by presidents who lost the popular vote. One is married to a woman who supported a coup against the government.

This should be a wake up call for everyone.

@jdlxn You're absolutely right. It could open the door to Handsmaid Tale, 1984 and criminalized sexuality, combined. Trans-folks of course will be attacked first.

Devastated. Gutted. But this is a night where I'm really pretty certain that being off of Twitter was the best thing for my sanity. Going to sleep tonight thinking of my daughter and how grateful I am that right now she is too young to understand what a huge step backwards this is for women.

If the leak of the draft #scotus decision on Roe is real and the opinion becomes final, not only will abortion lose Constitutional protection, but so may contraception and all expectation of privacy in any manner (as discussed on #maddow).

This may and I believe will, backfire on Republicans spectacularly.

I have to watch "Jesus Camp" for class and every time I watch it I remember how INSANE it is.

Like this whole camp is just mental and emotional child abuse.

People turn from truth just as they do from democracy, when they no longer believe their interests can be achieved with it. Attacking truth and democracy is the ultimate backlash to sharing power with those seeking justice and equality.

But apparently- I can report people literally wanting the death of trans people and nothing gets done. This is why I’m leaving the bird app.
