There are days—most days, honestly—when I read a post that is profound, thought-provoking, and emotionally evocative.
I want to respond in a manner worthy of the other person’s content, but I can’t—oftentimes that’s due to work, or a person who needs my attention, or I simply am unable to wrangle my thoughts and feelings well enough.
Thus I sometimes fav such a post, or add a 💙 emoji, but the spareness of my reply is no metric of the writer’s impact.
