This is a life hack that can be great when adding hashtags to social media.
TextExpander is software that can expand a preset abbreviation (snippet) to a phrase or series of characters.
I've used TextExpander for a quite a while to add my hashtags to my daily COVID message. On my phone, I use 4 versions of the tags to give me a rotating order of the 4 or 5 tags with emojis.
I've set up some new TE snippets for my columns here, so I can tap into the similarly named filters.
I've never formed the habit of using hashtags because no one I follow at the bird place uses them that often. Am I just too new here to have noticed that people here prefer that?
