Good morning, from the Left Coast. Had my quarterly Hematology checkup at the VA today. All is good. The most significant indicators were a normalization of my white blood cell count and a spike in my Uric Acid, which is indicative of the residue left behind when the chemo kills the cancerous cells. We are reducing the chemo dosage to 1/2 and adding Alopurinol.. I get checked again in January. If all is good then, that will likely become my maintenance level dosage for the foreseeable future.
