Today's the 1st game of the World Series between the LA Dodgers and the NY Yankees. It promises to be an excitement packed contest. On this day, 23 years ago, our granddaughter was taking a Water Safe class at Seal Beach. She graduated by being thrown into the pool and making her way to the side and out. In an area of the country where the ocean and pools present a ubiquitous area for fun and danger. Water Safe was an insurance policy against the later.
