Good morning, from the Left Coast. It is overcast and comfortable here, with the prospect of clearing later. It is not forecast to get into the unsufferable range today. The wild fires are well to the north and east of us. For now, we are dodging the heat dome effects. That will come later in the week.

We have avoided the brunt of the West Coast heat wave. Yesterday was our high of about 92F and today was 8 degrees cooler. If the on-shore breeze comes up this evening, we will open the windows an let it flow through the house.
