San Marcos school district launches clean-energy infrastructure, electric buses

The district’s fleet of 84 buses now includes 33 electric buses, which were brought into service as part of the project’s first phase, , 40 electric-bus charging stations, infrastructure for an additional 35 charging stations, onsite solar power generation and battery energy storage.
