Found on the Facebooks. What are you? I switch between True Plantser and Neutral Plotter, depending on the project.

This is probably nowhere close to what the cover for Posse will look like, but I was messing around with HeroMachine and GIMP today and came up with this. At the very least, it's a concept for my cover artist.

All right, ! My next book project is about a squad of special operatives chasing an international terrorist around the world. I'm looking for some recommendations along the same theme. Lay 'em on me!

Tonight I need to pick up soil for the new garden box and fill it. Then I can start work on edits for Jackrabbit: Rinse and Repeat!

Good morning, ! Apparently, my editor was quite, uh, moved by my latest project: "This might be my favorite thing of yours I've ever read. You're so clearly in your element here. The concepts were incredibly clever, the dialogue fantastic. I didn't have a ton of critiques to make, because you wrote a very tight story with a satisfactory ending...
...I demand more Jackrabbit forever.
Also I'm now hungry for bread and cheese."

Hey, ! I'm sure most of you already do this, but if you read a book, please do at least the absolute minimum and give it a star rating. I know writing reviews can seem like an onerous chore, but every little bit helps. On the other hand, if you write an actual review, it boosts the rating in search algorithms on sites that use them (unlike ). Anything helps us , so thank you!

Editor informed me mid-read that she is very much enjoying the story and unraveling of the mystery in my time loop book Jackrabbit: Rinse and Repeat. Always good to hear I'm amusing the cynics!

Decided it was time for an official change. I have dropped my original cover for Just Cause in favor of the one designed for the Collector's Hardcover Edition. It just looks better overall.

Good afternoon, ! I try to avoid self-serving posts as a rule, but today is May 5th, also known as Cinco de Mayo, and an excellent day to pick up a copy of my self-contained book about teen superheroes trying to do the right thing in the face of great adversity. amazon.com/dp/B07NKP7W28

These poor teens in my are so desperately in love with each other, and every time they start making out, they get interrupted.

Just like real life.

I sold quite a few ebooks yesterday. I don't know if that is related to or not, but if you bought one of my yesterday, thank you very much! This is the kind of thing that keeps me off the streets and off the pole.

Because you know that siren call can can be hard to resist.

I'm only about 500 words from hitting 70k on the Roast Wyvern book. Feels like it's going well. It took me almost 69k words before any characters vomited (this is an inside joke with me and one of my friends and fellow Just Cause Universe authors).

I'm not on to advertise, but if anyone is looking to pad out their summer reading lists, I have links on my profile. This toot brought to you courtesy of my coffee habit.

I am blazing along on Roast Wyvern and Other Recipes, an epic, low fantasy quest novel more about the gathering of ingredients than fighting monsters and getting treasure. I'm about 65k into it and it will probably be 100k when it's done. Just another epic fantasy doorstop.

Cover art for my next book, Jackrabbit: Rinse and Repeat! Will be out sometime in June (final date TBD).

In my fantasy world, if you see a group (squad? Flock?) of Halflings, somebody is going to die a nasty death, because when you're only two feet tall, you use dirty tricks against your opponents, and that means poison.

Tonight, I wrote a scene full of romantic tension over the lancing of a boil on a horse's flank. Also, there's a Gnome suffering from withdrawal shitting his brains out in the bushes. This is the good stuff, folks.
