@arthurpendragon seal on the cap itself maybe be bad - get new gas cap =) cheap. and might be cause.

@MrGoat @arthurpendragon we had that problem on my wife's chrysler t&c. replacing the cap did the trick. it had started just the occasional light on until we couldn't get it to shut off anymore
