I'm starting to think that 'number of hours' is not a rational measure of productivity.

@kel the company i worked for 30 years ago required us to estimate the number of hours required for coding projects. one of the guys i worked with always estimated 80 hours for anything, no matter the complexity. his reasoning was that anything can be done in 80 hours. he wasn't wrong
