Living with cerebral palsy my daughter doesn't always have the strength to go where I go. She has had some incredible adventures of her own but to see more of the places I see she bought me a GoPro. This last year I have started carrying it with me on my outings to record my adventures.
This is the Rugg Pond Natural Area near Kalkaska Michigan. I wandered across the old earthen causeway and walked through some of the floodplains of the Rapid River.

@eggnogskills I was glad to see it when I arrived at the park. This pond has surprised me with cool things in the past!
@Jsabinas The overnight rain was moving out and the sun was starting to burn through. It was a beautiful morning to walk around the lake!
@reminty Thank you and you're welcome! I haven't been out hiking much lately and it sure felt good to visit the wildflowers and pollinator's this weekend.
@Klaatu_Veratta_Nectarine @Anemone I've been following all the alligator updates too! It is amazing how many times they have popped up in the news. Wednesday I will be heading to an area where there has been a lot of bear sightings. I hike alone so I will need to be extra watchful!
