Once upon a time I craved to go there. The history, the architecture, the landscape, etc. but now no way.
Same with Mexico. I've been to Juarez, back in the late '80s and loved it but ya ain't gonna find me wandering around there any time soon. White girl with camera gear = instant target.

@see_the_sus That is true in many countries. Keep gear under wraps; walk with purpose and slight aggression
@see_the_sus Needs to be hidden, unless in use, in iffy countries. It's annoying, but I do have a crosss-body slash-proof bag.

Well…I would be carrying the camera as I’m shooting. I used to go everywhere with my K1000 and 50mm, even when riding amusement park rides. I’d wrap the strap around my wrist or wrap it around my ankle.
