My dear sister worries about the kids and I a bit too much at times. She, still living in hurricane country, heard we're in for some weather. It's just springtime in #theOzarks

Tonight & tomorrow:

Howdy, friends. So, the carpal tunnel syndrome and repetitive stress injury to my left thumb are still problematic, but not enough to warrant medical attention. As far as yarn activities, I just can't knit for a while, however, I have been destashing with some basic Tunisian #crochet. Oh- and I was today-years-old when I discovered that wrist compression devices are a thing. Halle-freakin'-lujah!

Moving right along, these #knitting pics are of a shallow beanie which was bound off with a rolled edge. Apologies for the lousy lighting. Between the outside and interior images, hopefully one can get the gist. A crochet hook was used to create a smoother chain stitch when binding off from the DPNs.

Howdy, CoSonauts. My day is already getting weird. It now seems that my tablet doesn't want to play nicely with the desktop site. smh... 😜 😆

So, there I was, happily focused on counting knitting stitches when *all* my devices loudly broadcasted NWS & local news storm alert updates...

It's been a chilly, but enjoyable Sunday at Team Phoenix HQ (home). Playing #Minecraft with my teen gives us time to just hang out, be silly, and discuss everything or nothing at all. We get to actually enjoy eachother's company.

Parents, please don't take opportunities like this for granted. Kids already have to grow up too dang fast as it is. It may sound corny, but there's truth to the adage, "the #family that plays together, stays together."
