Hey Twitter refugees! First thing to get used to. The bird app algorithm drives your feed, you have to keep posting interacting, amassing follows and followers to see the people you want to see and to be seen. Here a follow makes a list of people you want to see every post from, but it isn't necessary. You can just relax and interact with whoever you want whenever you want.
@BlueTsunami It's hard to break the habit at first because it was addicting, all that forced trolling for attention...I've been going back and forth. I think it will be a little easier for those who make a clean break and commit to building here. I think it will be really hard to settle in for those trying to "shop" multiple platforms as a Twitter replacement. I've always used different platforms for different types of interactions, so I'm more compartmentalized. It will evolve.
@foxtrax1 Great point! I too am currently on both, but the more I'm here, the more i enjoy it. Ppl have been amazing, very welcoming. Plus I'm now connected to many of my Twitter friends here so that makes me happy. Ur right about leaving Twitter permanently. I'm not there yet, but Elon is tanking it fast.
