@gshevlin

We live rurally and I didn’t even know that “doorstepping” was a thing.

Or what it meant.

Finally calling out media’s sane washing of Trump and bullshitting about Harris.

“ Criticizing both policy and style is fair game, and the job of the political press. But a sense of proportion is key, and when “Harris is adept at putting her own agenda forward in interviews” is put on the same plane as “Trump says migrants have murder genes,” news organizations have lost it.”

@ShaneArtBooks

I prefer books, but my tendinitis says otherwise. So ebooks it is.

We USED to have four+ bookcases and have whittled it down to two+.

But I’ve grown used to ebooks and they’re harder to ruin 😁

@Rjbaze
It’s normal.

When I went to the ER, no one said cancer. Just an inoperable mass around my carotid.

It’s weird.

My oncologist was wonderful but again, no one mentioned the C-word.

It’s normal (as far as I know — this is my first — and hopefully last — cancer). I also wasn’t emotional. I wanted to get to chemo as fast as possible. Get it over with. Mine was lymphoma. Has chemo and radiation.

My tip is to exercise (recommended by John Hopkins and discovered AFTER my chemo 🙄)

“Republican voters worship him in an entirely different way—something demonstrated by them hanging around for his DJ set and Noem’s obsequious “sir”s all night.“

He there been Koolaid they’d be drinking it.

Trump is not in possession of his faculties. To his fans, it’s irrelevant. They don’t care. To his sponsors, it is irrelevant. Just as long as they can control him. To Russia? He’s bought.

To America? He is a disaster.

Trump’s Watches? Another shell company:

“But a CNN investigation traced the watches’ origin to a shopping center in remote Sheridan, Wyoming, where TheBestWatchesOnEarth LLC, the company behind the timepieces, is based. There’s no indication that a watch company is located at the building listed at the address, only a daycare. Its neighbors include an H&R Block, a Wendy’s, and a ‘vape and hemp smoke shop’”

The closest those watches have been to Switzerland is China.

@tgraph52

Wait. Wait. I’m missing the part between where there were over 60 adjudications and each one fell short due to lack of credible evidence.

These “serious problems” were addressed in 2020. Each time there was no evidence.

Now, four years later, there is STILL NO EVIDENCE. Memes and conspiracy theories are no evidence.

I know I’m preaching to the choir, but Vance knows this. He has proved he is not above lying for a buck.

The words he would use?

Pure unadulterated bullshit.

@MrGoat

Alternative to your idea. As a worker I’ll just steal them because I can’t afford them in the first place.

😳

Trump:

• Lets Americans die
• Gave tax breaks to those who didn’t need it
• Saw record loss of jobs
• Saw loss of manufacturing
• An economy barely ticking over
• A massive increase in the deficit
• Claims he was responsible for the good but others were responsible for the bad
• Is a genuinely stupid person
• Falls for misinformation
• Thinks Russia and North Korea are our allies
• Decries China but uses it for his merch
• Thinks Americans are enemies

Trump: "I think the bigger problem is the enemy from within… We have some very bad people, some sick people, radical left lunatics… It should be very easily handled by, if necessary, by National Guard, or if really necessary, by the military."

Let’s look at what we are doing:

• Sustainable energy
• Women’s bodily rights
• Voter’s rights
• Clean air and water
• Corporate responsibility
• Infrastructure
• Health awareness
• Jobs
• Inflation
• Housing

What about this is evil?

He fought the law and the law won…

Brian Fallon, Harris' campaign communication director, praised her handling of the interview.
“I think there’s a good number of independents and Haley-style Republicans who are very open to voting for VP Harris, and that’s why we are open to doing events with Republicans and on Fox News,”

This had me LOL’ing

"I find the tone of your letter to be filled with vitriol and anger. I would suggest you take some deep breaths and calm down so this matter may be discussed without emotion. An anger management course might also help… I am just a country lawyer, unaware of the ways of Washington, D.C., but I must comment on your statements regarding obedience to subpoenas lawfully issued by committees of Congress”

Perfect response to Rep Jim Jordan…

@b4cks4w @IrelandTorin @abc

I prefer ‘box of rocks’ purely for the fact it flows nicely off the tongue.

I have only know one very rich person who was happy, charming and smart. (They were also good looking, friendly and upbeat).

I know, sounds impossible (they were also in a happy relationship!!!)

@IrelandTorin @abc

Now, now, don’t hold back…

I’ve known millionaire in my life. One I confronted at a party and he expressed to me he was a very happy person (when I expressed my opinion otherwise).

For the rest of the night he complained how no one had it as rough as he did.

And he wasn’t Trump.

@BFBucky1 @abc

I dealt with venture capitalists at one time and they will tell you (proudly) that only 10% of the companies they invest in actually turn a profit.

The majority go under.

And who is at the helm? The venture capitalists.

I leaned a very important lesson then: capitalism ISN’T smart at all.

(BTW, the company I was at went under)

“Fox & Friends host and white guy Brian Kilmeade said Wednesday that he believes it is an insult that Vice President Kamala Harris proposed to legalize recreational marijuana as part of a policy slate aimed at Black male voters.”

Except he got it wrong: Black men are over policed and denied jobs where white men haven’t. Kilmeade is “insulted” — not because of societal racism, but that Harris would try to end it.

He’s a poster boy for white power.

“Trump has become increasingly erratic in the final days of the race. On Monday, the former president threw a Q&A at a town hall in Pennsylvania out the window, instead playing music videos to the crowd for nearly an hour, while swaying onstage to his favorite songs.”

Back in the 80’s I had a plastic plant that would sway when you played music.

Some Americans want a President that is no smarter than a plastic plant.

That should give everyone pause.

“ As it turns out, Cruz quietly threw his support behind a right-wing bid to the Supreme Court that would have effectively stripped doctors of their right to perform emergency abortions in hospitals nationwide.”

Because women dying MERELY TO UPHOLD his fucked up opinion isn’t morally wrong — as long as HE doesn’t die.

We need to stop voting for these horrible people JUST because they PRETEND they are human.

Vote Blue. The Republican Party is evil.
