One thing Trump can't control, despite winning the election, is his own mental decline. The GOP is going to have to deal with it. It will be politically disastrous to remove him from office as far as their own constituents, and they aren't capable of cooperating with each other to come up with any plan.

@AlphaCentauri

They. Don’t. Care.

Trump will be removed by the 25th. Vance will become President. He will claim Trump is incompetent. President Vance will do this and it falls under his duties.

The rich will pat him on the back. Fox will say it was a wise move. Trump will be declared to be mentally unfit by a doctor who was paid off (the same one who called him fit would be 👩🏽‍🍳💋)

The rich then will control Vance because my-goddess-is-he-dumb.

@feloneouscat

That might work if their party didn't include Marjorie Taylor Green and Matt Gaetz. They will be busy backstabbing the others and getting their voters' hackles up over it.

@feloneouscat

I mean, you don't need a doctor to tell you he's incompetent, but half the country voted for him anyway.

@AlphaCentauri

I don’t think Trump cares much what the voters think as long as he is in office.

People need to stop thinking he cares. He doesn’t. He proved that in his first term.

Does Putin care? No, people just fall out of windows.

@feloneouscat

That would not work with Trump. Too messy, too likely to turn their voters against other GOP members.

But they do have My Pillow Guy ...

@AlphaCentauri

I think there is a fundamental disconnect here.

Trump is a narcissist. He quite literally does not care if it hurts other GOP politicians. Trump is not a politician in the same way he is not a businessman.

He is a conman whose only goal is make money and gain power. He doesn’t care about voters, constituents or anything else. He will not change his behavior to make others happy. He learned from his first term he was kept away from the fun toys (thanks main stream media).

@feloneouscat

I don't think you're reading between the lines. The GOP politicians are the ones he needs to worry about.

@AlphaCentauri

My point is that neither Trump nor Republican politicians care one iota what constitutes think.

One only has to look to Texas to see that the lack of caring doesn’t seem to change votes. Ted Cruz was voted in despite the fact that he left the state when Texans were dying.

I wish I could be more upbeat, but I do not trust an electorate that would rather believe Fox News than what they experience.
