I have a dear friend who is probably even more to the left in #politics than I am. She loaned me her copy of JD Vance's memoir and insisted I would learn a lot from it. I just started it and although I loathe him completely, she was right. In only two chapters I've learned a lot. Also - and I hate to say this - he was a gifted writer. #books
