Yes, this is a victory, but women should NOT be in this position in 2024. This is untenable. It's like guerilla warfare, continually fighting assaults on our rights on a state-by-state basis. Governor Kelly stood up for the rights of transgender youth and vetoed a ban on gender-affirming care, and the legislature failed to override her veto. It's a clear victory for transgender youth in Kansas. The office of Governor is as crucial as any other political position.
