TODAY'S CHOICE FOR WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH IS ELEANOR ROOSEVELT, WHO WAS THE LONGEST SERVING FIRST LADY, AND WHO ALSO CHAMPIONED CIVIL RIGHTS FOR AFRICAN-AMERICANS DURING A TIME WHEN WOMEN RARELY SPOKE PUBLICLY ON SUCH ISSUES.
