Yeah, that was unhinged!
Had an interesting discussion with my lifelong Republican sister last night. She has come to agree that this entire shitshow movement is unAmerican.
As my peace offering, I agreed that this is not Republicanism. That I might not have agreed with REpublican policies, but there used to be discourse, dignity, compromise, and civilized disagreement.
Remember , Remember the 5th of November , the gunpowder treason and plot. I know of no reason why the gunpowder treason should ever be forgot.
"It is to Madame Justice i dedicate this concerto in honor of the holiday she seems to have taken from these parts and in recognition of the imposter that stands in her stead."
"Hate is full of heat, but in the end, boring. It sidelines your ability to take action. Yes, notice your anger, then use it as an engine of change.
No skirmish has ever been won while in anger.
The warrior might overcome fear.
Yet is never victorious while in anger.
Anger dulls the blade before the sword is drawn."

I will always first choose the side of peace.
I will in vigilance, stand guard at the edge of the village.
To defend that peace.
I will not act in anger, nor with pride.
I will cultivate openness, non-discrimination, and non-attachment to views in order to transform fanaticism, and dogmatism in myself and in the world.
I will not waver.
Yet I will take action, to prevent others from profiting from human suffering or the suffering of other species on Earth.

@th3j35t3r No, a nation cannot enact a law that enables or legalizes conduct that is considered a war crime under international law. War crimes are serious violations of international humanitarian law committed during armed conflicts, and they are subject to prosecution under international law regardless of any national laws that may exist. States have an obligation to prevent and punish war crimes, and they cannot pass laws that authorize or condone behavior that amounts to war crimes. Enacting laws that enable or legalize conduct that constitutes a war crime would be in violation of a state's obligations under international law and could lead to potential consequences, including international condemnation, sanctions, or legal action. International law takes precedence over domestic laws, and states are bound by their international legal obligations, including those related to the prohibition of war crimes.
