If I even think about this election, my stomach clenches.
These next week will be brutal on my nerves and my sleep.
I know the feeling. Donโt end up in ER like I did. Walking in beautiful weather is so healing.
So many articles tout the anti-anxiety and other health benefit walking, which has taken over my work out regimen since the pandemic.
With this election, Iโm up to walking 10 miles per day. Not even kidding. ๐

@evamarie @LnzyHou I'm a walker, too. Not as far as you, but I have an alternative reason in addition to reducing stress & getting exercise. I go around the neighborhood and I give dog biscuits to all the dogs (with the owers' permission). They used to bark but now when they see me coming, they wag their tails.
Here are some of their names; Leo, Gigi, Jack, Jill, Nimbus, Luna, Moby, Lola, Tuna, Olive, Moses, Rio...and more.
Happy dogs reduce human stress.

Aw - thatโs wonderful! I walk with my dog and my neighbors come out and give her treats, the mirror image of your walk. ๐

Same. I know I won't get a wink of sleep until the winner is announced, then I'll either be too happy to sleep or too pissed to sit still.

I understand your feelings I think we all share them. He has made so many sick with his nonsense. I hope the one thing that comes out of this is everyone paying more attention to what is happening in their state and federally. I read a lot of new voters are voting for the first time.
This heritage movement is not going to go away.
If new young voters actually vote, weโre in good shape. The fact that so far, 55% of the early voting has been women makes me cautiously optimistic.
I am confident Harris wins the presidency my concern is the house and senate in particular.
I am trying to stay positive about it but then I dream of things like Clarence and Alito dying soon can't escape it in dreams now.
Our local Democratic Party texted and mailed folks cheat sheets on all the Democrats running even in those races where party affiliation was not on the ballot. *fingers crossed*
I think the ground level all over has been very active and working hard to get this done.

Very true. My province (I am Canadian) has a premier who is a MAGA wanna be so I see all the tricks going on here. Now she is legislating party* politics* at the civic level....people are not happy.
