I’m so ambivalent about my air fryer. Sure it makes my egg rolls crispy and uses less energy but clean up is a bear and it takes an outrageous amount of space.

So, broken air fryer is maybe not the end of the world? 🤔

@evamarie yeah… the space thing is an issue, but the summer cooking (I have no AC) is essential so I do t have to turn on the stove

re: cleaning- how about this EZ method: Fill the basket halfway with soapy water and set the appliance to air fry for 3 minutes.

Here it's my fav:

Fryer -select Grill , temp on max ( idnk, may depend on machine)

Drizzle corn w/oil, rub it to coat; season w/salt&pepper

Grill for 6 min then open the fryer, flip the corn, continue for another 6 min

Get corn out and coat it with a mix of mayo, sour cream, lime juice; may garnish w/cilantro

@Y2cake I occasionally use parchment paper and I have a couple of silicone trays that work well for more fluid items. Otherwise, I just pull the baskets, add Dawn & hot water, and give a light scrub with a dish brush. They clean up pretty easy this way for my model.
