A million register democrats in Texas have been kicked off the roles. To check if youโre still registered, go to this website. To re-register, just update your information:

IKR? Probably not a one.
@evamarie They can only win by cheating and supressing the vote.
Exactly.
Even after the federal deadline passed in August?
Yes, they have until 30 days from the election to re-register by updating their information. However, it looks like most of the people kicked off the roles donโt have different info. All they have to do is put in their same address and TDL # and confirm.
Wonder why they were removed?
There are -many- valid reasons to remove someone from the rolls. Did they give valid reasons for each of the people removed? If so, fine. If not, itโs lawsuit time. Federal.
I think itโs lawsuit time.
Yes, why in the world would Texas kick registered democrats off the voter rolls in a year Ted Cruz is running even with Democrat Collin Allred?
People forget that before George W Bush became governor and gerrymandered the state to extinction, Texas went blue for Clinton and both the Texas Supreme Court and the Court of Criminal Appeals were dominated by democrats.
Oh, Iโm sorry. I mean, what lawful reason was given (or not). I know why they fuck around.
Thank you!
As a reminder, Texas does not have online voter registration.
You can check your voter registration status here:
https://www.vote.org
Thatโs true, but once youโre registered to vote in Texas, you can go online with the Tex.gov website and update your voter registration info. and check if youโre registered. Thank goodness.
That's good, at least you don't have to in person to update or change things.
@evamarie
It would be interesting to have a year-by-year total of deletions. Here in PA, they donโt delete you if you move or if you fill out a duplicate registration during a voter registration drive. There are a shit ton of duplicate registrations. Then if you donโt vote in two major elections, you automatically get deleted. Thatโs the only system for updating lists. So there will be a steady (high) number of people deleted each year, without disenfranchising anyone who has voted since Obama
@evamarie I would be curious to know how many republicans they removed.๐ค
