Like you said, women and girls who’ve been raped are forced to carry a child in many states. The erosion of women’s rights in this country is appalling.

It's pretty bad, yup. And, the situation isn't much better elsewhere, either, like in other countries ... everywhere that men make the rules, women are treated like second-class citizens, and they're expected to shut up and be OK with it, regardless of where in the world they live. Patriarchies suck.
