I have a crappy memory - lots of reasons why - but what matters is how I deal with it. I use an app called Keep to manage personal reminders, lists, etc. and at work I rely heavily on my Outlook calendar and OneNote. During meetings I take copious notes and I loving refer to this as "leaving a love note for myself" because if it doesn't get written down it won't happen. Curious as to what others who have a or or just plain memory issues do to help with this?

@ekg1976 I am a fanatical list maker and every week I update the alarms on my phone with any time oriented things... when to prepare for an appt, when to leave, the time I need to arrive by, feeding pets, everything.

@MsJudyJetson I have said before that I live and die by my lists, and it is so very true.

@ekg1976 I have notes / plastic A4 papers strategically placed in my apartment, out of sight = out of mind. The plastic a4 has different chores on them so I can just use a whiteboard marker on it. Calendars are on the fridge, I do have a phone and a planner but the same rule applies to them. Medication us by the PC where I usually eat breakfast, it also helpa me remember to get new prescriptions if im out. I have burnout/autism/adhd which makes these things life lines

@Zolah Right there with you - if it's not in my face, it doesn't exist. I'm a huge fan of a monthly pill management system I found that makes it very easy to see if I've taken my meds.

@ekg1976 is it one of those " medicine rolls ", kinda like plastic bags rolled together, each bag with your daily meds?

@Zolah I use this one that I found on Amazon. tinyurl.com/yc3hjp4m
I'm at a point with my meds where almost everything comes mail order, 90 days at a time, so this has helped me immensely. (no, not a paid spokesperson, just a satisfied customer)

@ekg1976 that looks great! I have one of those classic ones - and since I only take morning meds I fill up all slots. The system I talked about you can get for free over here at the pharmacy but only for specific meds, they even swapped one of my meds without notifying me so I got ill xP so I gave up on that service ( it was free in Sweden idk in other countries). I also disliked having so much plastic for so few pills at a time

@Zolah I do morning and night doses so this works great for me. Plus, since each day comes out of the tray it's wonderful for traveling.

@ekg1976

Husband and I have ADHD. Aside from our note systems (I also use Keep), we have a shared Google calendar that everything goes into. Doctor appointments, when he has to go to in person work, days off - you name it. It makes scheduling and reminders soooo much easier for us. We only have one car, so careful scheduling is doubly important.

@Agatha OMG yes, the shared Google calendar is a life saver!!! We only have one driver (me) so that makes scheduling tricky at times.
