@JMHardin Oh boy, that reduces my sister's tax burden byβ¦. $11.
@linuxlibrarian A friend once held up her phone and said "here, look at my twat."
She meant tweet.
She said this to her boss.
@mcfate Logic and science doesn't work on that.
@mcfate That means anything dispersed at 30,000 ft. will be *EXTRA* potent by the time it's diluted in the atmosphere and reaches the ground! π
@mcfate Yep. Although I am attempting to educate.
@HealingHobbit I guarantee they aren't at the same level. If you know which direction they were going and when, you can look the flights up on flightaware.com Even 500' difference in altitude can have huge differences in jetstream/wind impacting dissipation.
@HealingHobbit As someone who worked in the aviation industry, those are perfectly normal contrails. Atmospheric conditions cause them to behave differently.
@Meekspees No argument. They're unarguably terrible.
@BlueVoter24 Justice Thomas' wife.
@Meekspees Sounds about right.
@Meekspees The puppy didn't notice. It continued to wag its tail.
Spraying blood all over the room.
She docked their tails.
The puppy was fine after minor medical treatment.
@Meekspees My sister-in-law has Weimaraners. Historically, those dogs have their tails cut ("docked") as puppies. Her dog had puppies. She didn't want to do that, thinking it cruel.
She found out *WHY* they do it. Apparently weimaraners have no pain nerves in their tails. She came home one day to find her "mud room" (where the puppies were being holed up) looking like a murder scene. One of the puppies had apparently wagged its tail so hard into something, it caused a bleeding wound.

@th3j35t3r I predict a ban spree in 3β¦ 2...
@th3j35t3r Dammit, I didnβt even need to visit the link. π
@mfa Poll shamelessly stolen from elsewhere.
And I am Gen X. π
Holy crap. I just booted my Microsoft Surface (original, running Windows RT 8.1) and it has a Windows Update available!
From just a few days ago.
Windows RT officially went End-of-Support last month. (Heck, it still having support until last month surprised me.) More than 10 years of support for a dead-end OS.
