@nova Yeah, we got quite the house upgrade this year...20 years of living well below our means meant we had enough money to buy a house that should have been above our means this year!

@nova Just in time for perma-work-and-school-from-home; the extra space has made life tolerable over our previous much smaller house.

This house also has a basement that is configured to be a completely separate unit - we'll rent it out eventually (once <waves hands at universe> is over,) but having that extra space to "escape to" has been wonderful.
