On the plus side, the narrator is different and already better. I hate to say that Rachel Leblang just didn't get the emotional tone quite right in a good chunk of the book or the hero's voice down IMO. I'm looking forward to Leblang's growth.

Welp, didn't read anything I was planning to, but I did finally listen to Live, Laugh, Lich by Kate Prior. There were a few "wait, what's going on?" things but it was okay. I was looking for a sexy monster erotica, and it was good enough to entertain me for the flight delay and couple hour plane ride. Got the next one in the series for the couple hour car ride.
