@duglop I wanted to step out & check for signs of northern lights but it overcast & developed into a loud thundering rainstorm. And in the middle east coast I probably wouldn't have seen anything anyway. #:'^(

Man I so intended to take some photos of Northern lights last night but ended up falling asleep on the couch and slept all night long there... I haven't done that in over a year minus a couple hour nap here and there.... wow

@duglop
Weird that anyone would have a problem with pigeons, really. I think they're cute.

Okay, I just came in from a day of yard work, and my wife read me a quote, ostensibly from Meidas Touch. Trump in a speech, extolling Hannibal Lecter, as if he were a real person and just a great guy.

Someone PLEASE tell me this was satire?

I never have had a problem with pigeons, they've never shat on anything I owned (that I'm aware of)

@duglop I once left that children's album contaning greats like "Beans in my ears" playing at full blast on loop for one of my rude neighbors.

They moved their subwoofer away from the wall after.

@AskTheDevil @duglop They could also play “Easy Street” 24/7….the same song poor Daryl was tortured with in The Walking Dead. Believe me, after about 10 minutes, your neighbors will be banging on your door! 😂😂😂😂

1st, I want to say thank you for your service!
I understand why you and thousands of other Vets deal with similar issues, along with stress related issues! I had a feeling. That's why I asked if you had served in the military. I can't imagine what you have been dealing with on a daily basis. I am so sorry that the VA makes it sound so easy to just stop being hyper vigilant! Like you said, it kept you alive while serving. It's not like a light switch. Again, I'm so sorry.

@Wolfman @duglop
That is so true about PTSD affecting everyone differently! Everyone is unique and will be affected to traumatic events in various ways. What a hellish aftereffect of feeling the most vulnerable when sleeping as a result of your service. But I hear you about having been
hyper vigilant having saved your life. It's obviously a coping skill that you carried over to civilian life. Not easy to undo. It's understood that you wouldn't feel comfortable trying to fix the issue now.

@duglop @Wolfman

Dug, thank you for your service as well! I am so sorry that you are also affected by PTSD and anxiety! It always breaks my heart knowing that our Veterans are suffering! But, Congratulations on 10 years of sobriety! I'm happy you have found methods to help calm you. Music and animals can definitely be very therapeutic!

I got it I just figured out how to annoy the next neighbor that annoys me. I will find a loud lawn mower or vacuum cleaning ambient white noise sound and blast it for 8 hours

@duglop @Spagesgallo1 I can relate to music, animals and the outdoors.
I can see one house from mine and it's at least a mile in any direction to another house. I am a fantastic neighbor but I have only had one and I have lived next door to him for 30 years. Lol we have the crossfire defense worked our to an exact science. He watches out for me and I wath out for him.
