I so want to confront my boss about yesterday because what he said he said it in front of other people other people heard it but I know the moment I do that I will probably lose my job
@duglop You should not be forced to work in a toxic workplace and/or around toxic people. Is your HR dept toxic too?
Go for that emotional satisfaction, but only after you have made your preparations.
I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I worked 900 days, after my final outrage. I planned, waited, kept my cool, until I was in a position to leave on my own favorable terms.
Yes I am that stubborn and deliberate. Not every situation is the same, but now that I am in the catbird seat, I have no regrets, not even about never telling them why.
@duglop I've had a boss that did that to me before. It makes it hard to function at a job where a boss disrespects you in front of coworkers. Fortunately for me I outlasted them and those present during the interaction. I'm so sorry that happened to you. Do you think things would escalate if you went to HR about their behavior?
@duglop I so understand and agree with others to plan your exit. Protect yourself.
My a**hole boss even forced me to smile at him, along with all the other horrible things he said and did. Totally degrading and demoralizing.
I feel your pain, but do what you can to prepare yourself and make a good plan.
@duglop That just sucks.
I really am, so sorry you're having to deal with this.
