True, I was thinking of things we needed thru our life as in necessities of the time like tools.

@disk4mat I'm at the "Getting rid of stuff" stage. We have no children (our chose) and no relatives that would want our stuff. So, I'm searching for a Salvation Army/Goodwill to donate to, but the closest is in Dallas and it is several hours drive. Seems like I'll just have to dispose of them. It's difficult to part with my stuff because I really appreciate my stuff, since as a child I didn't have. I know they're just things I can't take with me when I die. It's still difficult.

We are at that stage too we have kids but no one wants our stuff. We do donate to women in need but another way to go is put up for "free" on kijji you get rid of everything then. Good luck!
