UCP leadership results: Danielle Smith wins with 53.8% of vote
UCP members have elected Danielle Smith with 53.3 % of the vote in the final sixth round
It is the old wildrose all the fringe but there are a lot of them I hope she has to call an election to show support she said she would not.
Why would she call an election if there'll be one in May?
She won't but there will be lots of calls for her to show she has the approval....lots of infighting still. election was close.
Oh. Sorry. I missed that point. Yes, with only 53%, her leadership is tentative. Her positions are unconstitutional - I don't know how they'll stand the test.
It will be interesting if she can't win a by-election for a seat she has no elected seat either.
